- Elizabeth Gorrell Kot is a professional researcher and genealogy instructor. Bette, as she is known, received her masters degree in Library Science at the University of California in Berkeley, and is the Director of Library Services at the California Genealogical Society in Oakland, California. She co-authored the California Cemetery Inscription Sources in 1994, the Missouri Cemetery Inscription Sources and the Massachusetts Vital Records at the Sutro Library in San Francisco. She and her husband James D. Kot co authored the U. S. Cemetery Address Book.
Marston Watson has an extensive background as a freelance writer, seminar leader and genealogical researcher. Also, he has earned the title of Distinguished Toastmaster. He wrote a column on genealogy for the Contra Costa Times and was published in the New England Historical and Genealogical Register. He graduated at the University of California in Berkeley with a degree in business and has had a successful career in corporate and association management. Also, he has served in a number of state and national offices with hereditary organizations including the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and the National Huguenot Society. He is currently a director with the National Societies of Royal and Noble Ancestry.
